- As we have already mentioned, the first step is to contact a qualified professional authorised to issue a report on your home’s energy consumption.
- Once you have that report, you can register it online through the Junta de Andalucía’s virtual office (Oficina Virtual). Go to the Registros tab and select the following option: Registro de Certificados Energéticos Andaluces (the Andalusian energy certificate register). As the Royal Decree establishes, registration with the competent body of each autonomous community is compulsory.
- A PDF file will appear, which you must fill in with the details it asks for. The first thing is to state whether it is a new registration, an amendment, a renewal or a cancellation. Then carry on filling it in.
- In blocks 6 and 7, it will ask for the details of the certifying technician.
- To finish answering the question of how to get an energy performance certificate, complete the rest of the document and attach the necessary information. Finally, all that remains is to date and sign the document.
