Sea-facing facades endure salt air, wind and direct radiation. Before we design, we analyse the condition of joinery, shared services, terraces and exposed elements.
2 · A layout that opens the home to the horizon
An open kitchen onto the living area, the terrace treated as one more room, bedrooms oriented to the sun and the views. The project turns the flat towards the sea.
3 · Materials resistant to a saline environment
AISI 316 stainless steel for exposed ironmongery and taps, premium anodised aluminium joinery, compact marbles in the bathrooms and treated timbers for the sheltered exterior on the terrace.
4 · Solar protection and thermal control
Pergolas, motorised awnings, technical curtains and high-performance joinery. South or south-east facing facades need specific control so the home remains comfortable all year.
5 · Contemporary Mediterranean interior design
Neutral palette, modular sofas, light textiles, warm lighting and freestanding pieces. An interior that quietly converses with the blue of the sea.
