Ruth Buján Varela, architect and co-founder of Klic Arquitectos

Ruth Buján Varela is a Spanish architect, co-founder of Klic Arquitectos, an architecture studio based in Torremolinos (Málaga, Spain), and a partner in the studio since 2010. Registered with the Official College of Architects of Málaga (COA Málaga, no. 1,333), she leads the studio’s technical direction and site management, and signs the design and site management of its projects together with Juan Goñi Uriarte.

From design to site

At Klic Arquitectos, Ruth Buján Varela is the architect who makes sure that what is drawn gets built exactly as intended. She leads technical direction and site management: she adapts each design to the real conditions of the plot, coordinates consultants and the contractor, and resolves on site the details that decide the final quality of a building.

To that technical eye she adds a sensitivity for design and interiors: the choice of materials, light and how they meet, in housing, full refurbishments and hotel projects in Málaga and on the Costa del Sol.
