Juan Goñi shares his thoughts on the Louvre Pyramid in Arquitectura y Diseño magazine.

Juan Goñi, co-founder of Klic Arquitectos, was interviewed by the prestigious magazine Arquitectura y Diseño to analyze the iconic Louvre Museum pyramid, designed by architect Ieoh Ming Pei.

 

In the article, Goñi highlights that the true merit of this construction lies not in its geometry, but in the obsession with achieving total transparency so as not to compete with the museum’s historic facades. He also explains how the pyramid was the visible element of a much larger infrastructure operation: the Grand Louvre project, which reorganized the entrances of the world’s most visited museum.
